Avoid a Car Rental Accident with Atlanta Attorney's Safety Tips

Nothing can wreck a vacation quite like a car rental accident. Even if you have all the extra insurance coverage, you could end up with injuries or other complications that can cause you undue stress during a time that is supposed to be fun and relaxing.

If you are going to be using a rental car to get around your vacation destination – check out these tips to keep you safe.

  • Get a good night’s sleep before driving - drowsy driving can be just as dangerous as driving while drunk – with the same tragic consequences.
  • Get to know your rental car – before leaving the lot have the rental car company employee show you how to turn on the headlights, how to adjust the mirrors etc.
  • Stay organized – keep heavy items low in the seat wells and put away any unnecessary loose objects in the car such as games and toys – these things can become dangerous projectiles in the event of a sudden stop

Keeping these helpful hints in mind can help you avoid a rental car accident and having to navigate a complicated insurance coverage policy.

I used 2 car rental services I don't wanna name now. The cars they gave me didn't last for 50 miles! Their explanations were so ridiculous! But that's how people make their money these days I guess.. I got my money back, but I was really - really frustrated!

Hiring a car can be the toughest task in traveling and safety is the prior concern. When it comes to safety, you can take some precautions. While hiring a car always check for the insurance policy provided by the car rental company. Reference: - http://www.dan-dooley.ie/

Okay, there are way more tips to brush up this short list. How about ensuring that the auto parts of the rental car are in good condition? Customers should ask for proof that the car has been recently checked for maintenance services. Grab the most current map off the stand, and also enquire that the GPS is up to date. Take note of the details of the company should your vehicle break down in the middle of your journey.
