April 25, 2012 – Cherokee County, Ga. – On Friday, April 20, 3 young children were taken to the hospital following a single-vehicle car crash.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution states that the incident happened off of Ga. 108, near James White Trail. Lt. Jay Baker, with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, said that a vehicle was driving on the road when its driver lost control, resulting in the car to veer off the road and crash into a tree.

The driver, Joey Holloway, 27, was not seriously injured but all 3 of his young passengers had to be transported to the hospital.

Holloway’s 2-year-old daughter was first transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, but later had to be flown to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite. She is said to have suffered a skull fracture.

A 7-year-old girl and 4-year-old boy were also taken to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. The girl’s leg was broken and the boy’s injuries have been described as bumps and bruises.

No charges have been filed in relation with this accident. Investigations are ongoing.
