November 23, 2011 – Cobb County, Ga. – After an afternoon car accident on Monday, November 21, 5 people had to be taken to the hospital.
My Fox Atlanta reports that the accident happened on Interstate 20 nearFulton Industrial Boulevard. Officials said that at least one vehicle crashed on the roadway. Exact details of how the accident occurred are unavailable at this time.
Reports have cited that 5 people were wounded in the accident. According to officials on the scene, 4 of those people had been thrown from their vehicle during the crash.
The five victims were taken to a local hospital immediately following the accident to receive medical attention. The extent of their injuries continues to be unknown. The names of those related to the accident have not yet been revealed.
The cause of the crash remains under the stages of investigation by local authorities.
